Common questions

Does TAOT connect to my bank? No. It never asks for bank credentials and has no way to reach your accounts. You add payments yourself, or import them from a screenshot, a bill or a statement file — which is why it catches things a bank feed would miss, like an annual insurance premium.
Do I need an account? No. There's no sign-up and no login. Your payments live on your iPhone and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud.
Is TAOT free? TAOT is free for up to 5 payments. TAOT Pro is a one-time $14.99 purchase that unlocks unlimited payments and everything else, like statement and bill import, reminders until paid, calendar sync, backups and the Face ID lock. There's no subscription. Prices can vary by country.
I bought TAOT before it was free. Do I have to pay again? No. If you bought a paid version (1.7 or earlier), Pro unlocks on its own. Open TAOT once while you're online so it can check your original purchase with the App Store.
How do I restore Pro on a new iPhone? Sign in with the same Apple Account, then tap Restore on the You screen (or Restore Purchases on the Pro screen). Pro comes back at no charge.
How does iCloud sync work? If you're signed in to iCloud, TAOT keeps a copy of your payments in your own private iCloud, so they come back after a reinstall or on a new iPhone. We can't see it. You can switch iCloud on or off for TAOT on the You screen; switching keeps a copy of your payments on both sides.
How do I import payments? Tap +. To import from Apple, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, take a screenshot and pick it in TAOT. You can also pick a photo of a bill or receipt, or a bank statement file (CSV or PDF). Everything is read on your iPhone, nothing is uploaded, and you check each payment before it's added.
How do I add something that isn't in the list? Tap +, then Custom, and enter any name, amount and billing cycle. The search box also offers a custom entry when nothing matches what you typed.
Can it track yearly or quarterly bills? Yes — weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly are all supported. Whatever the cycle, TAOT converts it to a monthly equivalent so every payment is comparable and your total is honest.
What does "essential" mean? It's your own label for payments you consider non-negotiable, like insurance or your phone bill. It drives the essential-versus-optional split and the savings view, so you can see how much of your month is actually your call.
Will TAOT cancel a subscription for me? No. TAOT never contacts a provider or cancels anything on your behalf. A cancel link opens the provider's own page, and you cancel there. Removing a payment only removes it from your list.
How do reminders work? Turn on Reminders on the You screen, then choose 1 day, 2 days or a week ahead and the time you want. TAOT schedules local notifications on your iPhone — no server involved. With Pro, a reminder can repeat until you mark the bill paid. If you don't see them, check Settings → Notifications → TAOT.
I changed country. Will my prices update? Changing currency on the You screen re-prices known services to that market's real published rate rather than converting at an exchange rate. Amounts you typed yourself are converted instead, since there's no published figure for them.
How do I delete my data? Tap Clear data on the You screen. That erases your payments on this iPhone and the copy in your iCloud. Deleting the app alone leaves the iCloud copy in place, so it can come back if you reinstall. To delete it without the app, go to Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage (or Manage Account Storage) → TAOT, and delete its data.
Is my data backed up? Yes, if you're signed in to iCloud — TAOT syncs to your own private iCloud. With Pro you can also export a backup file and restore from it.
